Refund & Cancellation Policy


Our policy lasts up until 7 days before your class start time. If you are within 7 days of your class, unfortunately we do not offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund, you must be outside the 7 days of your class date. Refunds are only given 30 days in advance of the scheduled class date. Within 30 days you can exchange your class for any other Riccardo Cooking Class.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable cooking content and products
  • Some personal items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Within 30 days of scheduled class, exchanges are only allowed.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your email requesting a refund is received and reviewd, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 21 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@riccardocookingclass.com with the subject line “Missing Refund.”

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Sale items may be exchanged if they meet the same requirements for return as non-sale items.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only exchange classes if they are within the defined time periods. If you need to exchange the class for the same item, send us an email at info@riccardocookingclass.com with the subject line “Class Refund Request.”

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shard directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. All gift returns must be within in the same time periods described above, with proof of purchase for a valid return or exchange. Once the returned or exchanged item is received, a credit will be sent to you through email.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund or exchange to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

All items and transactions will be done through email and digital means.


Event Cancellation by Riccardo or Staff
Riccardo Cooking Class reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If event is cancelled, registrants will be offered a full exchange for ANY other Riccardo cooking class with availability. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive full registration to another event at the new, future date.

In the case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, Riccardo Cooking Class will do everything in its power to find an equitable substitute for your event. If an event is cancelled and no equitable substitute can be identified, then a full refund will be given. The definition of an equitable substitute is any event in Riccardo’s Cooking Class list that is of the same value or higher than the event customer paid for.
