Class Description

In Italian cuisine, the Antipasto fritto is something not to be missed, especially when you go to a Pizzeria. Fried potato balls with a melted heart of cheese and battered bread slices filled with mozzarella are just an example of the possible fried appetizers that you can order when you go to a Pizzeria.

Ingredients

Mozzarella in Carrozza:

  • 1 Block of Mozzarella (8 oz approx.)
  • 200 grams (7 oz) Bread crumbs
  • 100 grams (0,8 cup) Soft Wheat Flour Type 00
  • 16 White bread slices
  • 8 Anchovies in oil (optional)
  • 4 Ham slices (optional)
  • 2 Eggs

Crocchette di patate:

  • 1 kg Potatoes (8-10 approx.)
  • 100 grams (1 cup) Parmigiano Reggiano (finely grated)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Yolks
  • 200 grams (7 oz) Bread crumbs
  • Nutmeg

 

  • 1 L (4,25 cups) Seed oil for frying: sunflower, corn, peanut, soy
